Northern Lights (feminized)
“Northern Lights” is an Indica-dominant strain which is very relaxing. It is believed that this strain was created by mixing an Afghani Indica with a Thai Sativa. It is known to slam the head, eyelids, and other parts of the body into a numbing and lazy mode. Northern lights’ has a distinct piney, earthy and at times lightly sweet hint of citrus aroma. Some have reportedly noticed a bit of an ammonia smell to this strain, but the hint of citrus makes for a pretty invigorating smelling piney strain.
Most people like this strain because it is extremely light and induces sleep almost immediately after several doses; this makes it suitable for a nighttime selection. This strain is a definite choice for those who prefer quality over quantity. Northern lights’ grows well in soil or hydro, making it pest and disease resistance. It is a low odor plant that can be easily grown by beginners. It is also great for SOG applications.
There are three pure types of the Northern Lights strain, and they are:
1. NL known for being stretchy; and its pretty buds releases a fresh scent.
2. NL known to be more resistant to spiders, termites, and other pests.
3. NL noted for its potency and a reduction in its flowering period. The major disadvantage, however, is that it lacks the taste and aroma that a lot of marijuana users are looking for.
